Also, I have a Master's degree in Public Administration and a background in corrections. I seek this certification to enhance my skills in a specialize field area in Substance Abuse Counseling. I am presently doing my first semester internship at the Mecklenburg County Substance Abuse Service Center in Charlotte, NC. The counselor that I am actually "shadowing" gave me this website and explain how it assisted her with the educational process. My goal is to further my education in the field and would like to know more about what I can do to engage in this particular program.
