The Cratis D. Williams Graduate School at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina offers a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Concentration and Graduate Certificate in Addiction Counseling through the Department of Human Development and Psychological Counseling at Reich College of Education. All courses are taught from a multicultural perspective, emphasizing different experiences, cultures, histories, and perspectives of people from a plethora of ethnic, gender, racial and socioeconomic backgrounds. The Masters degree is designed to meet the need for advanced preparation of counselors and other helping professionals throughout the state of North Carolina.
