School of Allied Science -Certificate in Rehabilitation Counseling and Certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling
The ECU Certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling provides students with the skills and techniques needed to provide services to people with addictions. Certificate courses meet a portion of the academic requirement for the North Carolina Certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) and all of the hours towards the academic requirement for licensure as a Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS). The Certificate program is housed within the College of Allied Health Sciences Department of Rehabilitation Studies in Greenville, North Carolina.

The ECU School of Social Work offers bachelors degree (BSW), masters degree (MSW), three graduate certificates (Child Welfare Studies, Substance Abuse and Gerontology), and a School Social Work Licensure and housed in the College of Human Ecology’s Rivers Building at Eastern Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
