Department of Human Development and Services - with a Certificate in Rehabilitation Counseling and Behavioral Addictions
Located in Greensboro, North Carolina, the Human Resources Rehabilitation Counseling program at North Carolina A&T State University is designed to prepare culturally competent counselors who specialize in working with persons with physical, developmental, cognitive, psychological, and neurological disabilities and illnesses. Accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE), students are equipped with the knowledge skills and experience to empower persons with disabilities through the counseling process. Students in counseling program are eligible to apply for certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of North Carolina.
